International Technical Writing Competition

By Tom Barnett, Competition Manager

The First Annual International Technical Writing Competition sponsored by the Phoenix Chapter of STC offers an opportunity for college students to be recognized for outstanding writing in technical communication. This competition is open to all STC student members around the world who are enrolled in college. The competition awards a cash prize to the top paper, and the winning paper may be published in STC newsletters around the world. The competition also provides all entrants with useful comments from the panel of judges.

Original articles must be authored by an individual between July 1, 2004 and February 28, 2006 while the author was a student. The articles can be on any subject in technical communication, but must be written for a non-technical audience.

Entries must be submitted electronically by February 28, 2006. There is no entry fee.
