Meeting Information

February 15, 2006 Meeting:
How to Use a Portfolio to Ace a Job Interview

In this follow-up to his "Top 10 Mistakes" session, Jack Molisani will lead an entertaining and informative session on how a portfolio is not just a collection of work samples—it is an interviewing tool you can use to achieve the four critical steps needed to receive a job offer.

The presentation will include what to put in a portfolio, how to get things to put in your portfolio, and most importantly how to use your portfolio to ace a job interview.

Want (or need?) a new job? Don't miss our February meeting.

Jack has been a project officer in the Space Division of the U.S. Air Force, the documentation manager of a multi-million dollar software company, and currently is the founder and president of ProSpring, Inc., a technical communication staffing firm. See the ProSpring Web site to download the slides from Jack's presentation and for additional resources: http://www.prospring.net.

Jack is also producing LavaCon, the Fourth Annual Conference on Technical Communication Management, to be held October 1-4, 2006 in Kauai, (www.lavacon.org).

Jack will be raffling a free admission to LavaCon, so remember to bring your business card to the meeting!

Please remember to bring your résumé for our résumé table, and be certain to introduce yourself if you are looking for a job.
