Over the years, several long-time members in the Phoenix Chapter have debated the merits of certification for technical communicators. The debate is over – the Society has announced approval of a certification plan that will become available within the next year.
Certification will be possible for the following six areas:
- Authoring (content creation)
- Delivery
- Document design
- Project management
- Quality assurance
- User analysis
